Information Introducing the future of evolution. (Heaven help us.)
Hey all!

I have lived here since 2000. I came to help a friend set up a business here and stayed on as sys admin. I currently work at the University of Mississippi for one department. (I also do not work on computers outside of work and could never imagine supporting the entire campus.) Smile

I enjoy many kinds of music. I play piano mostly. I can play valved brass (better at Tuba), saxophone (better at tenor), recorder (kinda) and kazoo (barely). I am attempting to learn violin. I wouldn't mind finding a group (or groups) that has (or have) insanely eclectic musical tastes and ridiculously flexible schedules.

I originally come from the Texas coast. I have spent around 18 years there over different periods of time. I have lived in southern California, Central Ohio and the Mississippi coast in the past as well.

It is easier for me to respond to questions than try to remember stuff on my own.

So... yeah. Whatcha know, Oxford?

Those, who think they know what is good for everyone, probably don't. Never be ashamed of how you were born, but only what you do can ever be worthy of pride. Love is the unstoppable force, but Apathy is the immovable object.

Hey, Eric!

Glad you're here. Seems like you're another that has had quite a bit of moving around experience. All the places you've lived...what makes Oxford stand out? And quite the musician, aren't you? That's impressive. Especially the kazoo skills!

Hey, welcome! I'm a sax player myself, and I tend to do best on Bari sax.

And I gotta say, that's an interesting avatar, lol

That's gotta be one of the weirdest avatars I've seen in a long while.
